The Family Wellness Institute at Friends of the Family is seeking part-time volunteers to help with our community homework club offered for free to children in the area. Children come for help in all areas of school work, which they are grateful for and so are we for them. The change we witness in the children is amazing. We see the difference that is made when a child "gets it" and feels proud, confident, and happy....come be a part of the joy!
Looking for tutors that are knowledgeable on LAUSD standards, English, Science, Geometry and Algebra.
Hope you will share your knowledge with someone less fortunate! You can volunteer as little or as much as you would like. Extremely rewarding.
Fall Session starts August 20, 2019! Come join the fun!
