Join our Therapeutic Recreation Services for a day of fun and service at our annual Holiday Brunch with Santa, Holiday Extravaganza Carnival, and Holiday Dance! Various shifts are available throughout the day from 8a.m. until 10p.m. for event set-up crew, grounds crew, greeters, craft fair booth workers, arts and crafts assistants, games booth assistants, break-down crew and pretty much everything in between! Help us out with one shift or help out all day, this event is lots of fun!

Wear comfortable shoes and something festive if you'd like. The event will take place at;

War Memorial Building

Description

San Diego's Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
