We are currently seeking volunteer help to index historic church registers in an online database. This requires volunteering on-site and some experience with a computer.
Using church registers that date back to the 1700s century and later, this database will include baptisms, confirmations, marriages, burials, ordinations, and removals. It is the first big step in making the contents of these registers accessible to users across the world!
Interested in helping us out!? Need to brush up on your reading of handwritten English, German, Danish, or Norwegian? Help us preserve history one name at a time!
Contact our office manager, Kelly Givens, at kelly@moravianchurcharchives.org to learn more about supporting the Moravian Roots project.
