You can be a part of our movement. We are looking for coaches and assistant coaches in your area! This is a time commitment of one to two hours per week to train our athletes with intellectual disabilities in the certain sports that are offered in that area.
The mission of Special Olympics Southern California is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them counting opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
