The California Ballet Company is presenting their annual Nutcracker at the Civic Theater throughout December. Before the start of each show we provide red carpet photo opportunities for our patrons. We are looking for photographers who own their own camera and tripod to take photos on the Civic Plaza an hour and a half before the start of each show.

About California Ballet Company
Location:

Mission Statement
California Ballet presents high quality professional ballet performances and educational programs for the public community of California, through support of a resident company of professional dancers.
Description
From its inception in 1968, California Ballet Company has been a fertile ground for the re-staging of the demanding classics and for the creation of its own trail-blazing works. Later on, the CBC bestowed on emerging young choreographers, many from San Diego, an opportunity to create and to develop through the company their own personal dance statements. In addition, the CBC has influenced, nurtured and enriched the lives of generations of committed dancers, many of whom are now performing across four continents.
CBC has recently expanded its Sharing the Art Program to include Nutcracker Connect. These programs allow children with life threatening diseases, military families, autism and other people with sensory, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, and numerous other previously underserved groups to enjoy the live arts.
