You can help make the holidays magical for families in our community, by helping BCOC with our holiday programs! Two opportunities are available.
Holiday Program Greeter: Greeters will be stationed on the front lines as we serve families through our Give A Christmas program! You will welcome people as they arrive to receive assistance for the holidays. A warm & friendly attitude is all you need! 3 hours shifts, 9 - 12 or 12 - 3, weekdays.
While you're here, you may be helping to sort toys, greet donors as they deliver gifts, assist drivers with loading cars with gifts to be routed to other offices, and more.
Driver: Using you own vehicle, load up and deliver gifts that need to be routed to other BCOC offices. Clean driving record.

Description
Bucks County Opportunity Council, Inc. is a non-profit Community Action Agency established in 1965. Our mission is to help low-income people in Bucks County achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency. We provide a broad range of self-sufficiency, emergency and preventative, free tax preparation, financial literacy and asset development, food assistance and weatherization services. Our services are based on the principle that empowering people with the education, training, resources and skills necessary to permanently leave poverty is far more beneficial than helping them cope in poverty. We work closely with human services organizations, faith-based organizations and others to address local needs and issues affecting low-income individuals and families.
