Hacienda Skilled Nursing Facility is the only facility of its kind in the Southwestern United States, providing comprehensive, individual, home-away-from-home care to children and young adults (ages 45 or younger). We provide round-the-clock long-term , short-term , respite and palliative care tailored to meet their needs. Our facility is in need of Care Companion Volunteers to rock babies, read to our residents, play games and provide companionship to these special individuals.
Requirements -
1. Completion of Volunteer Application
2. Tour of Facility and Interview with Volunteer Coordinator
3. Proof of Negative TB Skin Test
4. Flu Shot
5. Active Fingerprint Clearance Card

Our Humble beginnings started in 1967 with the love, compassion and tenacity of one woman by the name of Ilene Butler. Today, we provide a wide range of services including 24-hour nursing and respiratory care; physical, occupational and speech therapy programs; and social and dietary services. With over 40 programs to date serving over 2500 people every year throughout Arizona, Ilene Butler proved that one person can make a difference.
