AID is in need for volunteers who are interested in assisting inside of its Aurora warehouse, picking and filling items to be going out to residential facilities. No experience is required. Weekday shifts available between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one, 4 hour volunteer shift a week.

Volunteers must be 16 or over.

Will consider court ordered community service applicants.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
