Summary
The Family Support Intern assists with the coordination and implementation of a comprehensive family service program for children and families that Head Start serves. College of Saint Scholastica.
Tasks
- Assist in conducting a strength based needs assessment with each family on case load
- Assist in ensuring the completion of all health assessments, immunizations and physical/dental exams
- Assists with on-going recruitment
- Works collaboratively in a team environment
- Helps to ensure compliance with Westside Head Start Policies and Procedures as well as the Head Start Performance Standards
- Assist in collaborating with local programs and agencies to locate services for families

Description
Our office serves to connect volunteers with different opportunities across the valley. These opportunities serve our many different sites which work with different vulnerable populations including refugees, pregnant teens, and children in foster care.
