Continuum Care Hospice is recruiting therapy animals and their humans in Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Summit counties. Patients and their loved ones look forward to the comfort that animals and their pet parents provide during visits.
Our Pet Therapy volunteers may visit wherever our hospice patients reside including private residences, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Animals must be healthy and have documentation of all recent immunizations and there would be an in-person behavior screening prior to your pet seeing any patients. There is also some hospice related training for the pet parent that can be done from the comfort of your own home.
