About

JA’S IN-CLASSROOM PROGRAMS
PREPARES TOMORROW’S WORKFORCE.

With a focus on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship,
Junior Achievement classroom activities complement what our hard-working
educators are already doing to prepare our youth to succeed in the future, both
personally and professionally.

Serving as mentors, our volunteers share their personal and professional
experiences with thousands of students every year - more than 50% of whom come
from low-income backgrounds.

Time Commitment:

Attend a volunteer training at our Tempe office

Teach five lessons during regular school hours (lessons are approx 45-min each)

Teachers remain in the classroom at all times

1 to 3 years work experience required

JA’s impact would not be possible without the mentors, donors, and schools who partner together to make a difference.
