SeniorServ is looking for a friendly helper for an isolated senior in Placentia who has had a recent stroke. Because of the inability to use her right arm she needs assistance with light housekeeping. A commitment of one to two hours per week is all that is expected, which may not seem like a lot, but it will mean the world to this senior. This senior lives alone, and family members live too far away to help on a weekly basis.
As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides services for over 1,000 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
