Our senior housing property in Cypress has over 30 Korean speaking residents. We encourage healthy aging to all of our residents and want to offer them health and wellness information and vital community information. In order to do this we at times need translation of both written and verbal communications. When we hold events and meetings it would be wonderful to have the ability to communicate with all residents in their preferred language. If you have the ability to help in either capacity please help us out.
A volunteer would need to have some daytime availability on weekdays in order to assist with in-person translation, particularly for health and wellness events. However, if you are fluent in written Korean, you could assist at any time with document translation via e-mail!
