An 86 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for weekly help with cleaning and laundry. The woman’s ALS has left her unable to clean their home or to fold laundry. Someone who could help them with these tasks for two hours a week would be an incredible help.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
