There are many ways in which your skills and your smile can make a difference by volunteering.
Haven’s Patient Caregiver Volunteers are VITAL members of our team. They work closely with Haven nurses, social workers, home health aides and chaplains to assist in providing much needed support to patients their families and caregivers. Their contributions range from providing periods of respite care for the family, to simply being there when needed for compassion and comfort visits. They provide friendship, support and assistance to patients residing at home, in an assisted living facility or a nursing facility. This opportunity allows you to volunteer when it is best for you.
