Visioning Committee (Christian Women's & Girl's Organization)

We are looking for professional and service-minded women (ages 21-over) to serve on a Visioning Committee for a newly developing a Christian professional and social networking organization for women.

The organization is being formed to advance equity and equality for women and girls, while also providing opportunities for mobilization and action around social justice issues. The organization will also provide opportunities for networking, coaching, mentoring, and development and will include programs and services for women and girls.

The role of the Visioning Committee is to help develop the framework of the organization, including professional/social/philanthropic opportunities and activities that will become the cornerstones of the organization's functioning.

The Visioning Committee will participate on a conference call once a month on a Tuesday evening and will also participate in email communications as needed. If the ladies have Facebook, then a private group can be created for more ongoing communication. The first call will occur on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:30pm EST and is expected to last one hour. We'd like for the selected women to commit until June, but understand if they cannot. Members close to the Rahway community can also elect to meet in person.
