Throughout the year Light 11 hosts fundraising events to support our mission and vision, such as our Back to School Field’s Day Event. Such event often requires several volunteers to assist with the set-up, hosting, and clean-up. In addition, volunteers are relied upon to assist with the promotion of events

Our mission is to financially assist low income students on the path to higher education and create awareness of violence in urban communities, in honor of slain victims of violent crimes.
Description
Light11 is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to students from urban communities in honor of slain victims of violent crimes. In alignment with our mission, the organization aspires to assist urban youth with obtaining further education at the college level and bringing awareness to violent crimes in low income areas.
