Santa will be visiting the Butterfly House! Guests will be eating a delicious Pasta House dinner, visiting Mrs. Claus’s Cookie Kitchen for cookies & cocoa, making crafts, and playing games. Guests will even have an opportunity to take a souvenir picture with the guest of honor - Santa!
The Butterfly House is looking for volunteers to assist on December 8, 9,10, 15, 16, & 17 from 5pm - 8pm. Volunteers will assist with event set-up and tear-down, as well as one of the following duties during the event
- Craft Assistant - Manage craft area. Help guest with making crafts.
- Games Assistant - Manage the game area. Help guests with games and hand out prizes.
- Zero Waste Ambassador - Help the Butterfly House be greener by assisting program participants sort their waste into recycling, compost, and if necessary, landfill.
- Mrs. Claus - Manage the cookie and cocoa kitchen.
- Temporary Tattoo - Help put temporary tattoos on faces or hands.
- Entrance/Exit - Manage the guests at the Tropical Conservatory's entrance/exit during the event. Tell guests about the rules and make sure the butterflies stay safe and contained.
Applicants 14-17 must have their parent/legal guardian complete a Parent/Legal Guardian Consent Form in order to volunteer for Supper with Santa. All volunteers must have an application on file with the Missouri Botanical Garden.
