Habitat for Humanity of San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys builds and renovates homes in partnership with people everywhere with a goal of eliminating substandard housing by making decent, affordable housing a matter of conscience and action in our communities.
Volunteer Project:
We are doing a rework of a project initially installed at the Skirball Center for the last month of the year. We’re framing out a child-sized house and will culminate in its inclusion in a local holiday parade on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Volunteers are needed to help in all stages of building, painting, decorating and more!
Three 4 hour shifts are available:
- Friday, December 9th, 10am - 2pm
- Saturday, December 10th, 10am - 2pm
- Saturday, December 10th, 2pm - 6pm
No prior building experience required!
