The SWATSArts Project will provide job readiness training to young adults in the areas of fashion design, set design, basic editing, music video production, dance performance, theatre, and music recording arts
The overlapping goal of the evening program is to provide arts based enrichment programing that will assist participants in career readiness in the fields of fashion design, set design, basic editing, music video production, dance performance, theatre, and music recording arts. Using teaching artists, the SWAT S Arts Project se eks to prepare 40-50 Southwest Atlanta adults to enter Atlanta’s growing entertainment industry. Participants will be required to attend the program for at least an hour a day in order to receive a healthy yet wholesome dinner meal
We are looking for Teaching Artist Associates to help Partner with us in helping the youth ages 16-24.
Teaching Artist will spend 4 hours a week leading groups in the different programs offered.
-Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children in an age-specific group (between 16 and 24 years old).
-Plan and lead 6 Week distinct arts-based Class over the course of the season.
-Follow the curriculum provided
-Support group on Class-wide field trips around the city.
-Work collaboratively with other teachers.
-Communicate with administrators.
-Contribute to Theme Day decoration, End of Summer Exhibit activities, and other large-scale activities.

Evolving Arts Provides Programs for At-Risk and Undeserved Middle and High school Youth. The Program Creates Partnerships with Local School Districts. Evolving Arts Has Five Mentoring Programs in the Arts. Dance, Art, Music, Film and Fashion including Academic Support.We provide an environment in which children can feel free to imagine, create and welcome the Arts into their Lives.
