ORGANIZATION: FRAMBARK

FramBARK is looking for an Executive Director to lead the activities of the group including social media, PET Talks, local media coordination, and all of the volunteers that make these activities happen.

The role includes

  • Ensuring Social Media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) are maintained as expected.
  • Ensure FramBARK events are promoted according to the job description of this role.
  • Ensure PET Talks are being coordinated and executed.
  • Social Media, Event Promotion and PET Talks are all executed by dedicated volunteers. The Executive Director role is to ensure all of these activities are operating as expected and troubleshooting where needed.

Time Commitment: 8-12 hours per month

The ideal volunteer is:

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Works well independently
  • Enthusiastic
  • People person
  • Good organizational skills
  • Works well virtually (our group works almost exclusively through electronic communications and telephone)
  • Framingham or Metrowest MA based

Our mission is to form a fenced-in dog park by partnering with the town of Framingham. For the benefit of dog owners, this will provide a safe, enclosed space for dogs to play and exercise. For the benefit of the town, it will engage the local community and provide support and promotional opportunities for local businesses.

Description

We are a small group of dedicated dog lovers in Metrowest Massachusetts! Our primary mission is to establish an enclosed dog park in the town of Framingham. We also participate in community events to raise awareness and facilitate educational forums for canine centered topics!
