We will be celebrating the HOPE Helps 15th Annual Christmas in the City event with the help of the Interfaith Coalition, local businesses, and our generous community donations, we give hundreds of families in need the opportunity to choose gifts for their children ages 0-18. They will receive lunch, listen to holiday entertainment, receive toys, gift cards, blankets, books, socks, underwear, stocking stuffers, and the opportunity to visit prayer tables and a variety of partner resource agencies.
Event: Saturday, December 17th, 2022
Donation sorting dates: Week of Monday, December 12 - Thursday, December 15
Event set up: Friday, December 16 at University Carillon Church 1395 Campus View Ct., Oviedo, 32765

Before you click the sign-up button read the full volunteer duty descriptions, directions, maps, and qualifications for each assignment. Some openings need volunteers who are strong lifters to load, unload and set up toys, food, and other donations.
Shifts: You can sign up for one shift per day. Shifts are on average 3 hours long.
Snacks and water will be provided during your shift.
What to wear: Wear fun holiday attire. Comfortable appropriate-length shorts, a shirt, and closed-toed shoes (sneakers) are required for safety.
Qualifications: Students 16 years old and over can volunteer independently. Children between 10-15 years old can sign up to volunteer and need to be accompanied by an adult. Both child and adult must have an application on file with their own email address.
Christmas in the City volunteer T-shirt will be available for pick up prior to the event at the Admin Office and on the day of the event. Time and date to be determined.
Park in the volunteer parking spots at each location.
FAQs will go out prior to the event to answer any questions you may have.
