Decoration Crew needed for Resident Holiday Party

Pathway Homes Holiday Party Decorator Volunteers will prepare the Banquet Hall for the Pathways' Resident Holiday Party. Tasks will include:

-putting up decorations including streamers and other wall, window, and side decorations.

-preparing table settings (table placement, table cloths, individuals place setting, etc.)

-prepare dinner foods (this may include cooking or heating already roasted meats such as turkey, ham, chicken, etc.), cutting the cooked meats for serving, cooking or heating vegetable dishes (green beans, etc.), potato dishes (white and sweet), and more. ( about 200-250 residents + resident guests are expected to attend)

-prepare hors-d'œuvre to be placed around the hall for the residents to enjoy when they first arrive before the food is served.

-putting up wall directing signs (smoking/non-smoking or bathroom, etc.)

-making sure the banquet hall is beautiful so that when the residents arrive they will feel like it is a restaurant that has been set up just for them.

-Volunteers should come dressed down when they first arrive so that they can feel free to get dirty as they make the hall beautiful and create the holiday atmosphere for the night's event but- all volunteers who plan on staying to serve should bring a nice pair of clothes to wear while the party is going on. (No Jeans during the resident holiday party.)
