Help lead life changing workshops in Half-Way houses in the Denver metro area. Workshops are fast paced, weaving together interactive exercises, facilitated discussions, role plan, humor and games. The program has demonstrated results in reducing levels of anger, improving communication skills, and building connection with others. Workshops are a series of six sessions held every other Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. For further information, visit our website at www.nfnc-avp.org

Description
For more than thirty years, AVP Colorado, formerly the New Foundations Nonviolence Center, has helped people in in communities and in prisons to transform their lives. Through Alternatives to Violence workshops, we give people the tools they can use to learn new ways to communicate and resolve conflict without resorting to manipulation, coercion, or violence.
