Energy Savers Network is looking for dedicated individuals to join our network of volunteers. Energy Savers Network is a local non-profit organization that provides energy-efficiency and weatherization services to limited-income households throughout Western North Carolina in an effort to lower the energy burden for our most vulnerable communities which also has a positive effect on our climate. Our motto is helping the climate by helping people.
At Energy Savers Network, we believe in helping the climate by helping people. If you are committed to environmental justice, energy efficiency, poverty alleviation, or you just like to get your hands dirty for a good cause, we want you to join us for a workday!
We offer volunteer training in an array of home improvement and energy efficiency skills that can help you during our workdays and can also be used to improve the efficiency of your own home or apartment. We are happy to work with volunteers of any experience-level from total beginner to professional contractors. You don't have to be an expert to improve another person's life, and even the smallest improvements add up to major results in the fight for climate justice.
Feel free to contact Yulia Shaffer, Operations Coordinator by email yulia@energysaversnetwork.com

Mission Statement
Energy Savers Network supports volunteer-based solutions to the energy efficiency problems that disproportionately impact low-income households. Our dual mission is to help climate by helping people.
Description
Energy Savers Network envisions a sustainable future where our most vulnerable communities are not saddled by the worst impacts of a dirty fossil fuel industry. We believe in community-lead programs that improve the health, safety, and energy efficiency of low-income households. We believe in mobilizing volunteers, donors, and community partners to create real change in people’s lives. We believe in helping the climate by helping people. The measures we take include simple energy efficiency actions such as installation of LED lights, weather-stripping, duct sealing, interior storm windows, minor insulation, water heate, and pipe insulation. Our vision is to create resilient and empowered communities by creating a positive difference in peoples' lives through volunteer initiatives.
