Are you interested in becoming an elementary school teacher? The San Francisco Education Fund connects future teachers with volunteer opportunities that allow you to receive hand s -on experience. You’ll be volunteering in a San Francisco public school in grades K-3 for at least two hours a week while learning from an established teacher.
Our pilot Teacher Pipeline Program pairs elementary school volunteers with a host teacher for yearlong volunteer support. This provides you a placement with a master teacher while you consider a career in teaching. The San Francisco Education Fund provides volunteer support in the form of check-ins and a monthly cohort meeting facilitated by a Literacy Specialist.
