Care Ring's Physician's Reach Out is looking for assistance in our Patient Reenrollment department. Volunteers should be detail oriented, have great math skills, patient, and highly motivated. Responsibilities include filing, sorting, and some data entry. Volunteer hours for this position range between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday (Minimum duration 3 - 4 months). Experience in the health care industry helpful.

Description
Care Ring offers the following comprehensive program and services:
Physicans Reach Out program: In partnership with the Mecklenburg County Medical Society and the Charlotte Dental Society, 1600 volunteer physicians, dentists and allied health providers provide free or low-cost healthcare for low-income indivduals who do not qualify for Medicaid and do not have access to private health insurance.
The Care Ring Low-Cost Clinic in uptown Charlotte is a solution for the uninsured who can afford modest office visit fees. Low-cost lab work is conducted on site. The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm for non-emergency appointments.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a national model, evidenced-based nurse home-visiting program that improves the health and well-being of first-time, low-income mothers and their children.
