If you are seeking professional development, enjoy working with the Latino community, and are looking for an opportunity to use your volunteer hours, please consider volunteering for El Centro Hispano’s 2016 radiothon! El Centro Hispano needs 11 volunteers for December 10 th, 2016.

Who: 11 volunteers to participate in a radiothon. El Centro Hispano is seeking 11 bilingual, sociable, responsible and committed volunteers.

What: Receive people’s donations in person or receive people’s donations via telephone. (varies by location)

When: 8AM-5PM December 10 th, 2016, for various shifts.

Where: Various locations including:

• El Centro Hispano. 2000 Chapel Hill Road, Suite 26A. Durham, NC 27707.
• Compare Foods. 2000 Avondale Drive, Durham, NC 27704. Two shifts minimum.
• Compare Foods. 1000 N. Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703. Two shifts minimum.
• La Mega. 707 Leon St, Durham, NC 27704.

How: Receive donations in person or via telephone in the above locations. Varies by location.

Why: The purpose of the radiothon is to have volunteers receive donations to support El Centro Hispano’s mission: El Centro Hispano works to strengthen the community, build bridges and advocate for equity and inclusion for Hispanics/Latinos in the Triangle Area of North Carolina.
