Kindred Hospice is seeking patient care volunteers to visit with our patients. Here is a chance to be a patient's "last best friend." Visits are for companionship and socialization, not clinical, in nature and the staff at Kindred provides training for all of our volunteers as well as Volunteer Mentors helping guide you into transitioning into the role. Together we can help our patients discover the abundant life that remains available to them!

Description
Kindred Hospice is a provider of end of life care, serving more people than any other hospice provider in the country.
In Avon and surrounding communities, we have a small, personable and dynamic team of doctors, nurses, hospice aides, spiritual care providers, and social workers, who serve to offer excellent care to our hospice patients and their families.
Volunteers are an essential part of our interdisciplinary team, that help provide both administrative and in-home non-clinical patient support.
