With Love From Jesus Ministries

  • 12 people are interested

This opportunity involves a two-person team, driving our van to several different grocery stores to pick up donated and salvage food items to be distributed to our guests at the ministry. These stores must be picked up in the morning. Upon return to our building items need to be unloaded onto the loading dock. We pick up the stores 6 days a week. Some of the food boxes are up to 50 lbs.

We currently have some open spots on these two-person teams:

  • Tuesdays we have two available slots available for volunteering. One person to assist the driver in picking up three grocery stores. One person to ride along with the driver to assist picking up three stores.
  • Wednesdays we need one or two people to pick up one store.
  • Fridays we are needing one person to assist one driver every other week. We also need another two-person team.
Only the driver needs to be at least 25 years old. The assistant does not have age requirements but needs to be physically able to handle lifting of boxes into the van.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the families and individuals that visit us each week.

As a para church organization we seek to present a unified presentation of God's love to our honored guests. Many different churches and denominations are represented among our volunteers.

Four days a week honored guests visit our thrift-store type facility to shop for clothing, household items which includes furniture, and groceries. These items are given away free of charge.

We depend on volunteers to help us accomplish our mission. Many of our volunteers came for the first time and fell in love with the family friendly atmosphere.

We'll work with your schedule.
