The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Access and Eligibility Services, offers a learning opportunity for its volunteers that focuses on helping low-income families with basic food, financial and medical assistance through the following programs: Food Stamps (SNAP), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), and Medicaid.
Each volunteer will perform clerical duties, based on their level of skill, which will help ensure a more effective and efficient process for present and future clients.
The volunteer will work under supervision of designated staff personnel based on assigned HHSC office location. There are several office locations in which to volunteer.
This opportunity is for Region 8 office locations: San Antonio (6 locations), Schertz, Seguin, New Braunfels, Boerne, Gonzales, Jourdanton, Floresville, Port Lavaca, Hallettsville, Victoria, Cuero, Karnes City, Hondo, Pearsall, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Kerrville, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Uvalde, Crystal City
