About

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Eligibility Operations, offers a learning opportunity for its volunteers that focuses on helping low-income families with basic food, financial and medical assistance through the following programs: Food Stamps (SNAP), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), and Medicaid.

Each volunteer will perform clerical duties, based on their level of skill, which will help ensure a more effective and efficient process for present and future clients.

The volunteer will work under supervision of designated staff personnel based on assigned Health and Human Services office location. There are several office locations in which to volunteer.
