Open to corporate, civic, school, social, and religious groups. Groups are an important part of the Heinzerling Community's volunteer program. Volunteer groups may spend time playing games, doing crafts, musical activities, etc lead by the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer groups may also sponsor or work on special projects or assist with fundraising. Examples include: Assist with holiday/family parties; Assist with program activities for multiple residents; Provide entertainment-give puppet shows, plays, sing, dance for residents. Attend and assist with outdoor acitivities, volunteer at our fundraising events

The Heinzerling Community is a private non-profit organization for the development and education of individuals with severe or profound developmental disablilities. From infancy through adulthood, services are provided on an individual basis. The goal is to help each resident develop to their fullest potential.
