HOT PROJECT VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!
Youth Employment Service of the Harbor Area, Inc. (YES) is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to providing employment building services to youth 16 to 24 years of age to increase each youth’s employability, career and education choices and quality of life.
Job Title: HOT Project Lead Volunteer
Office Hours: 1:00 - 6:00 PM (5:00 PM on Fridays)
Days: Tuesday through Friday
Hours: Part-Time - flexible scheduling
Location: Youth Employment Service (YES)

General Statement of Duties
Under the direction of the YES Staff, the HOT Project Lead Volunteer will lead and assist in administrative tasks that correspond to our latest HOT Project - delivering client support in a time of major expansion to allow YES to more efficiently support youth in Orange County and continue to expand and support a wider audience.
This role is extremely important because without it, YES will not be able to implement crucial employment skills classes, finance classes, mock interviews, and resume consultations to youth who do not have access to this education in school.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administrative support
- Assist with data collection; answer phones; and assist with other tasks as directed
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Perform data entry and scan documents
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Database
- Prior understanding of Access and eTapestry Databases
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Accuracy, attention to detail and strong follow-through skills
- Ability to work independently
- College Degree (A.A., B.A., or B.S.)
