About

We are looking for volunteers to serve on our Graphic Design and Branding team who share our passion for education, technology, and equality. It is a 40-hour commitment per month initially and an opportunity to help ensure access to quality education for all, regardless of race, location, income, and access to technology.

Please submit your Resume with 2-4 samples of your best work and availability (days of week, and hours per day).

What you’ll do:

  • Create visuals and designs to enhance personal portfolio

  • Optimize current branding elements (logos, fonts, etc)

  • Re-design and/or recommend enhancements to product websites and implement development

  • Create email templates, marketing/sales presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials (e.g. social, display)

  • Research technologies

  • Develop mockups

  • Prepare design templates

  • Ensure creative alignment with branding and marketing strategies through design.

  • Work on projects from start to finish working closely with the VP of Marketing and CMO (includes brainstorming concepts, organizing information, full design and development, and approaching projects with basic marketing fundamentals in mind).

  • Source photography and artwork as necessary

  • Participate in company wide professional development initiatives

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or proof of current enrollment

  • Proficient in Graphic Design or proficient skill in UI/UX development

  • Experience cooperation with different departments to create designs for branding purposes

  • Company-wide professional development initiatives

  • Expertise in Wordpress, Squarespace, HTML, MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

  • Previous experience designing for digital and print

  • Ability to work quickly and independently when required

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Experience in editing and composing video for online use is a plus

Additional Information:

24/7 Learn Volunteers are challenged to add value to projects and are encouraged to take risks, and think outside of the box. We invest in our interns by providing them with clear direction and leadership for a robust and rewarding experience. Our Interns do not serve as assistants, work on projects that directly generate revenue for the organization, and do not displace regular employees.
