Worldreader seeks an intern or volunteer to assist our Digital Librarian with a variety of tasks including content evaluation, writing/editing e-book descriptions and fixing inconsistent e-book metadata. We're in particular need of volunteers with language expertise in either Ewe, Hindi, Kiswahili, or Twi. We'd love to have you come in to our office in SoMa at least once a week, but can also offer a remote option if it's a journey for you. Althought we do not have any paid intern/volunteer positions, we do offer a transportation stipend.
Worldreader volunteers and interns are an integral part of the work we do to increase access to information and knowledge in the Global South. You can expect many opportunities to contribute and collaborate with the entire Worldreader Team around the globe.
