This is a non-televised event, meaning we will be gathered around some tables in a conference room answering incoming calls. Dress is casual, and we work in a friendly and inviting environment.
Our volunteers are some of the nicest, most interesting people anywhere. You'll have a good time while supporting our PBS station.
We have 3 shifts on Saturdays and Sundays: 9am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-6:30pm, and 6:30pm-11pm. Mondays and Wednesdays, 7pm-11pm, and Thursdays and Fridays 8pm-11pm.
We're flexible! If you want to overlap shifts or just drop by for a couple of hours we would welcome your help.
Feel free to bring a book or a hobby to occupy your time just in case the phones are not ringing as much as we would like. Meals and snacks are provided too.
