Over 380 rescued farmed animals call Woodstock Farm Sanctuary home. We need 4 to 6 volunteers each day to make our daily operations possible.

Volunteer Activities

Typical volunteer activities include mucking barns and coops, raking, and pasture cleaning on the farm side, and stuffing envelopes, organizing, and helping with database cleanup in the office. Many of the animals will come visit you while you complete your tasks but please remember that some tasks might not include much animal interaction. Volunteering is physically intensive, so expect to get a good workout!

Volunteer Hours

The volunteer hours run from 10:00am-4:00pm Wed-Sun for the farm, and 10:00am-2:00pm Mon-Fri for the office. Our volunteer orientation begins promptly at 10:00am to go over safety rules and assign tasks for the day, so please arrive on time so we can get started on time. Age Restrictions

For safety and liability purposes, all volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, no exceptions. Volunteers who are under the age of 17 will need parent/guardian supervision for the duration of the day.
