Over 340 rescued farmed animals call Woodstock Farm Sanctuary home. We need 4 to 6 volunteers each day to make our daily operations possible.
Typical volunteer activities include mucking barns and coops, raking, and pasture cleaning. Many of the animals will come visit you while you complete your tasks but please remember that some tasks might not include much animal interaction. Volunteering is physically intensive, so expect to get a good workout!
The volunteer hours run from 10:15am-4:00pm. We respectfully request a minimum commitment of 3 hours, but you can work the whole day if you’d like! Our volunteer orientation begins promptly at 10:30am to go over safety rules and assign tasks for the day, so please arrive 15 min early so we can get started on time. If you miss 10:30 orientation, you will not be able to volunteer. If a situation arises where you will be arriving late or need to cancel last minute, please email us at email@example.com ASAP.
For safety and liability purposes, all volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, no exceptions. Volunteers who are ages 14 or 15 will need parent/guardian supervision for the duration of the day.
