Bring some joy and compassion to a member of your community. Compassus Hospice is seeking patient support volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to patients in the last months, weeks and days of their lives. Ways to help include: friendly visits, writing letters, reading, playing music, reminiscing, running errands, etc. Volunteers may also provide bereavement support to families.
Training is provided so all volunteers understand end of life issues and know what to expect.
Volunteer in your own community on a schedule that fits your availability. Patients are located in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
