Pull up your sleeves and dig in by helping host and assist with one of our support groups or community outing. We need help at each event with setting up the room, putting up the signs, checking participants in and ensuring that the meeting or outing goes smoothly and that everyone is enjoying their time together. You would be scheduled to come about ½ hour before and stay about ½ hour after the activity for a total of about three to four hours.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to uplift the Southwest Ohio autism community through education, resources, connections and lifelong support. We envision a world where autistic individuals and families are supported, treated with equity, and valued.
Description
Autism Connections (formerly Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati) was founded in 1971, by local parents at a time when autism was rare and misunderstood. Over the past 50+ years, autism has grown to be the number one fasted growing disability in the U.S. with one in 44 people on the autism spectrum. Autism Connections has grown to be the leading connector for families to all things autism through our Helpline, a phone and email call center that connects families with local resources. We also offer support groups and programs for transition age (13-22) individuals to build skills that are necessary as these young people enter the adult world. In addition, Autism Connections provides training to first responders, educators, and community members to build an understanding of autism.
