Join the HALO team for it's 13th annual auction fundraiser. Your tasks in assisting the Silent Auction Chair and HALO's COO and Office Manager include:
* Work with Silent Auction Chair to secure items for silent auction at
fundraising event:
* Strong communication skills needed for both emailing and phone calls
* Contact names provided to request silent auction items
* Suggest and find locations and vendors to secure silent auction
item donations
* To ensure no duplicate requests, communicate with Silent Auction
Chair before requesting items and when item is committed or
* Work with Silent Auction Chair to schedule item pick-ups and be
available to make pick-ups. Travel required to pick up auction items - heaviest
travel time is in January and February.
* Follow up on delivery of auction items to HALO
* Notify Silent Auction Chair of all items received at HALO
* Data entry of all auction items into ReadySetAuction (software program - RSA)
* This includes finding/taking appropriate photos to upload into
RSA for the mobile bidding interface
* Proof to ensure items are appropriately entered into RSA 2 weeks
before the event (Silent Auction Chair will digitally "package" in
RSA, you will be the second set of eyes)
* Assist Silent Auction Chair with packaging items and determining which
auction category the packages belong
* Ensure all open and close mobile bidding auction times are
set and correct (Silent Auction Chair will enter; you will be the
second set of eyes)
* Brainstorm creative ways to display the silent auction packages at the
fundraising event.
* Attend meetings as needed
* Help set-up and monitor silent auction area at fundraising event on Feb. 23, 2018
* Assist Office Manager in any auction tasks needed
* Assist in creating donor packets, sponsorship material, thank you letters, and other material
* Assist with RSA data entry of guests
