We are in need of some help at the Columbus Chase Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. The following opportunities are available.

Task:Medal set-up & distribution

  • Volunteers Needed: 16 total with 11 leaving at 10:30 am
  • Time: 8 am - 11:30 am total coverage - Need all 16 at 8 am to set up tables on sides of streets with medals, then after race has started move the tables to 3 lanes on Lane Ave. From approximately 9:30 am - 10:30 we will need 16 and from 10:30 - 11:30 we will only need 5 to distribute the medals to all finishers.

Task: Water set-up & distribution

  • Volunteers Needed: 10
  • Time: 8:15 am - 11 am - This group will need to take individual bottles off pallets and put on tables. They can start the task at 8:15 and be finished by 10:30 am. As the bulk of racers finish, they can hand out water bottles and keep tables stocked. While we will have finishers after 10:30 am, they can leave as long as water is displayed on tables for easy pick-up.

Task: Registration Tent

  • Volunteers Needed: 10
Time: 7:15 am - 9 am - We will need a small group to distribute bags and shirts.
