Keep The Beat Inc is looking for students to be a part of our Student Ambassador program who are interested in learning how to DJ! No experience is necessary! We will train you! Ages 15 through 19, young men and women, in college or high school.
This is a good opportunity for aspiring music artists or anyone interested in the communications field!
Requirements:
You must have a 2.5 GPA or better and no excessive absences that cannot be explained on attendance record
Participate in at least (4) community service activities throughout the year
Assist when needed as an instructor during monthly workshops
Be a responsible person who is a team player and can take direction
Own transportation or be able to be dropped off and picked up for activities
Be ready to learn and have fun!

Keep The Beat Inc, mission is to mentor through music and develop youth into competent individuals and instill community pride through service projects.
Description
KEEP THE BEAT INC was created to introduce youth to music concepts involving the art of the disc jockey, music theory, beat and rhythm. KTB is a program for youth in grades 7th-12th and will teach the concepts of music along with the importance serving in the community. Using S.T.E.M concepts, students will explore the areas of music relevant to science, technology, engineering and math. KTB students will be required to participate in service projects while they are learning the musical concepts.
