About Us
Do you know what harmful contaminants are in your water? How it gets there? What effect it has on your families and environment? Save the Water(tm) (STW(tm)) is the one looking for answers.
STW(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. We learn and collaborate in an open and empowering work environment to find long term solutions to water contamination problem. Our vision is "Contamination free, healthy water for all"

At STW(tm)A day in the life of a scientist (DILOS(tm)) program consists of a field trip that instructs and excites young scientists. During the trip, the students are given a presentation on the water cycle, the scientific method, and facts about water contamination. During the outing to a wetland, river, or a lake, students collect and analyze water samples and engage in applied science.
At STW(tm) we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented professional to d esign and coordinate DILOS(tm) events through conception to completion. If you are an outgoing individual and someone who enjoys event planning, then this is the role for you!. Come, live your passion and help STW increase awareness of the cause.
This position requires a commitment of minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.
Primary Responsibilities:Attend DILOS(tm) events alongside our President, Frank Ramos and our Research Laboratory scientists (Optional)
Assist in the design and coordination of our DILOS(tm) events.
Attend monthly Education Group meeting.
Report to Project Leader for the given project team
Complete the PWR at least on weekly minimum basis
Experience/ Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Requires self - direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
Living in the Miami-Dade area is preferred but not required.
