Volunteers are needed to help staff our Clearinghouse Help Line! Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!

Volunteers answer telephone requests for help, listen, assess and analyze the caller’s needs, and then make appropriate referrals to our various ministries that meet those needs. Volunteers serve as a source of encouragement to our clients when they call, instilling value and purpose and listening without judgment.

Responsibilities include: - Complete training - Maintain client confidentiality - Complete intakes with new clients - Identify needs and possible sources of help - Maintain accurate client records Qualifications: - Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the Apostles’ Creed - Ability to commit to one 2.5 hour shift each week (flexible) - Discernment, non-judgmental attitude and the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others - Ability to learn new skills as needed - Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus Online applicaton available at https://docs.google.com/a/loveincecc.org/forms/d/15UvpCY81hlaHOBW9LRVHBSmn3PdNLhxSmEIh_nI_0no/edit
