Allina Health's hospice volunteer program is looking for you! We need certified Pet Therapy teams (dogs only), certified Massage Therapy volunteers and hairstylists to support hospice patients where ever they call home!
We offer flexible schedules and we offer online training followed by a 1X wrap up training session in Minneapolis. This rewarding opportunity brings an immeasurable amount of satisfaction to hospice patients, family members and the volunteer. Allina's hospice volunteer program covers 33 counties in the Twin Cities greater metro area. See patients in your community!

Mission Statement
The mission of Allina Health Hospice & Palliative Care is to relieve physical discomfort and meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients at end of life. We provide comfort care at end of life and offer support and information for the family and caregivers.
Description
Volunteers are part of the interdisciplinary team and support or assist wherever the patient calls home, in a variety of roles. They are an integral part of the hospice team and make up over 5% of our patient support.
