ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
Our high school kick off will take place this December 3-4, 2016 at Lithium Technologies (225 Bush St, San Francisco, CA 94104). This is a weekend-long event for 100 high school girls to show them that engineering can be fun and exciting. They have the opportunity to participate in one of seven technical workshops such as web development, mobile ux design, and intro to python.
We need technical and non-technical volunteers--of all genders-- to assist the workshops leaders, and support the girls during the workshops !
If you have any question please feel free to reach out !
Looking forward to hearing from you

ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
