HEARFELT HEALTH TEENS - SPORTS DIVISION

We are looking for athletes to join our newly formed Sport Division. The members of the Sports Division will have the opportunity to collaborate with students from numerous high schools in the Charlotte area to: (1) plan activities and share their skills at public events, such as the Greater Charlotte Fitness & Health Expo, Type 1 Diabetes Fundraiser, and Isabella Santos pediatric cancer fundraisers, (2) work with children in afterschool programs at Title 1 schools, (3) create instructional fitness and sports videos for kids, and (4) advocate against bullying. We are currently speaking with Athletes Against Bullies for our council members to volunteer at a celebrity sports event in the spring. Kevin Lovitt will speak at the Information Session. Mr. Lovitt was a former Senior Vice President at IMG where he was in charge of sponsorship and marketing of world class athletes, such as Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning.
