ORGANIZATION: Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana

The Steering Committee will play a vital role in providing strategic direction to the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana’s future history museum. Responsibilities of the Steering Committee include developing the governing principles and policies, developing the overall strategy for a Girl Scout history museum, and developing the model for governance and operations of the museum.

Requirements:

  • Be 14 years of age or older at the time of appointment to the Steering Committee
  • Participate in Committee meetings, approximately one per month, via phone or in person (Chicago and/or suburban meeting locations)
  • Be committed to serving a one-year tenure, starting in late January 2017
