We are all mortal so why do we avoid the topic of death and dying? When we stop denying death we empower ourselves.
Compassion & Choices is currently seeking individuals with a commitment to improving care and expanding choice at the end of life for our California Access Campaign, an educational program focused on informing Californians about their end of life care options and rights.
This is a unique volunteer opportunity that truly impacts who has access to their full range of end of life options, including California’s End of Life Option Act, which allows terminally ill, mentally capable adults in California to request aid-in-dying medication from their doctor to bring about a peaceful death. We need volunteers who can seek out organizations and groups in their own community to educate and empower.
This work is highly rewarding and allows volunteers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of terminally ill people in California.
