Kansas City WildLands 16 th Annual Red Cedar Christmas Tree Event
Saturday, December 3, 2016
Join Kansas City WildLands at the annual red cedar tree event! This is our third year at Mildale Farm in southwest Johnson County. This is a fun and festive volunteer opportunity! There will be several jobs/shifts available, from moving trees to helping patrons tie them on to cars to helping dole out hot cider and cookies. KCWL volunteers always make this a wonderful event for the hundreds of families who come out to cut a native Christmas tree while helping restore a prairie... come be part of it!
Exact shifts and times coming soon! Generally, shifts will be 3 hours, between the timeframe of 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM. All volunteers must register in advance by contacting Linda Lehrbaum at 816-561-1061 x116, or email linda@bridgingthegap.org button at the bottom of of this screen to let Linda know you would like to volunteer.
This workday is in partnership with Johnson County Parks and Rec Dept. Mildale Farm is located at 35250 W 199th St, Edgerton, KS 66021. For more event information, click here http://bridgingthegap.org/cedar-tree-event/
